„each civilized person in the world should admit that he has two home countries: the one he was born in, and Syria.” –André Parrot

Our cafe opened in 2008 with the aim to make it possible in Budapest for the people living there and for visitors to learn more about Arabic culture and atmosphere and to get away from everyday reality for a couple of hours. Those who visit our cafe may feel for a while as they had made a short journey to this wonderful country, Syria. We are waitng our guests with a real oriental experience, a varied arabic music, a wide selection of hot roasted teas, and of course with the inevitable shishas. In addition to the multitude of teas and coffees it’s also possible to consume alcohol.

Since the opening, the place has gone through a lot of changes because we always pay attention to the newer and changed needs of our guests. During all the changes we’re trying to change our supply properly to the demands and to present novelties. At the same time there is something never changes here: the eastern environment, the familiar atmosphere, the kind and friendly service and the frightened friday night’s belly dancing show!
